SOCIAL IMPACT
Fighting hunger. Ending exploitation. Fostering freedom.
At Medina McKelvey, advocacy doesn’t stop at the courthouse steps. We believe in using our time, resources, and influence to restore dignity, peace, and opportunity in the communities we serve. Whether we’re feeding families in California or fighting human trafficking across the globe, our mission remains the same: to be a force for good.
SERVICE BEYOND THE OFFICE
At Medina McKelvey, our commitment to service runs deep
Our attorneys and staff serve on nonprofit boards, volunteer in churches and community groups, and represent charitable organizations on a pro bono basis. We stand beside our team and our clients in times of crisis—offering tangible support when life gets hard, and responding swiftly to needs within our community.
We donate more than money—we show up. We roll up our sleeves. And we offer our time, our talents, and our hearts to causes that matter. Because service isn’t just a firm value, it’s a shared calling.
Lawyers vs. Hunger began in 2014 with one firm, two food banks, and a shared desire to tackle food insecurity in our own backyard. As of 2024, it has grown into a powerful statewide movement, serving more than one million meals.
Today, more than 20 law firms join forces with local food agencies to provide hundreds of thousands of meals to those in need annually.

You Give
Donate directly to participating food banks through the Lawyers vs. Hunger campaign.
We Match
Medina McKelvey and our partner firms match those donations, dollar for dollar, up to a designated amount.
Everyone Eats
Every $1 donated becomes up to $4 in food aid, quadrupling the impact of every donation thanks to the incredible buying power of local food agencies.
Another organization close to our heart is Agape International Missions (AIM). Working in some of the most exploited regions in the world, AIM rescues children from trafficking and provides long-term healing through safe housing, education, and employment.
We support AIM through monthly financial contributions, pro bono legal counsel, and boots-on-the-ground volunteer work. Our team has traveled to Cambodia and Belize to witness and support their operations firsthand.
We’re proud to stand with AIM in their fight to bring freedom, dignity, and restoration to every survivor.
FAMILIES SET FREE
In the heart of rural Pakistan, over 3 million people are trapped in generational slavery within brick-making factories. Families Set Free is on a mission to end this cycle by rescuing, resettling, and restoring these families—one at a time.
Medina McKelvey proudly supports Families Set Free through monthly financial contributions, dedicating a percentage of our revenue to this cause. Our partnership aids in paying off insurmountable debts, providing safe housing, education, and sustainable employment opportunities for freed families.
