ABOUT Barb
Barb partners with employers to deliver disciplined, end-to-end litigation strategy in individual and representative employment matters. Her approach combines strong litigation execution with practical business judgment, helping organizations navigate complex disputes while driving toward efficient, favorable outcomes.
She embraces a “lawyer as peacemaker” philosophy—believing that strong advocacy and meaningful resolution are not mutually exclusive. That perspective shapes how she approaches each case: with clarity, control, and a focus on outcomes that actually work for the business.
She represents clients from initial assessment throughout the litigation process, remaining deeply involved at every stage to ensure each move supports a clear, strategic objective. Barb leads case strategy, drafts pleadings and dispositive motions, takes and defends key depositions, and advocates in court with a focus on positioning matters for decisive advantage.
Known for her direct, no-nonsense approach, Barb works closely with clients to cut through complexity and move cases forward with confidence. Whether the goal is early resolution or adjudication through a dispositive motion or trial, she brings a steady, strategic presence and a clear path forward.
Outside of her practice, Barb’s life is just as full. She and her husband homeschool their daughter, volunteer in their local community, and run what she describes as an “unofficial foster home” for a lively mix of dogs and cats. When time allows, she enjoys skiing, swimming, and cultivating a “free-form” garden—where the results are unpredictable, but always interesting.
COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY
Barb is actively involved in her local community, including volunteering her time at a classical co-op in Yorba Linda, where she supports student learning and activities. She also assists with Sunday School at her local church.
