New PAGA Ushers in the Era of Proactive Compliance—Webinar on July 2

The proposed changes to PAGA (as mentioned in our last communication) are now in draft legislation and are making their way through the legislative process. The Legislature released revised versions of Assembly Bill 2288 and Senate Bill 92 Friday night and they are expected to finalize and pass New PAGA by June 27, 2024.

While there will be much talk about New PAGA in the coming weeks, the most important thing employers need to know is that New PAGA helps employers committed to proactive wage and hour compliance.

New PAGA did not surprise us—it’s something we’ve been prepared for and predicting for years. Medina McKelvey has been on the forefront of wage and hour compliance and has actively championed proactive compliance measures with our Compliance Plan and Cal Comply’s online wage and hour training, testing, and certification platform.

Please join us for an informational panel-style webinar on Tuesday, July 2 at 12 p.m. Pacific Time to discuss the most important things employers need to know to take advantage of the new law. Our litigation and compliance leaders will share how you can immediately take advantage of New PAGA through proactive wage and hour compliance.
